COVID-19 VIRUS CAN SURVIVE ON

Covid-19 can survive on banknotes,
glass and stainless steel for up to 28 days,
much longer than the flu virus, Australian
researchers said on Monday, highlighting the need for cleaning and handwashing
to combat the virus.
It really reinforces the importance
of washing hands and sanitizing where possible and certainly
Wiping down surfaces that may be in
contact with the virus.
The findings, published in virology journal,
suggest that the virus can last for almost a month on glass, stainless steel,
and both paper and polymer banknotes if kept at ambient temperature and
humidity (20 C and 50 percent RH).
